Despite a diploma in aeronautical engineering lying deep in my drawer and a fifteen-year period during which I worked as
a PC serviceman, sales representative, graphic designer, copywriter, car dealer, manufacturing engineer, and constructor,
my inborn desire to tell stories about the world using pictures eventually took over.

I have always been exchanged by the beauty of the landscape, which is a combination of two very extreme components:
the face of Mother Earth, which has been strong and unchanging for centuries, and natural light – variable and fragile
in its form. This combination is the reason why the same landscape motif can still delight and look original, even if it was
an inspiration for many generations of painters and photographers, and the word climate, associated mainly with meteorological terminology, fits so accurately the domain of landscape photography.

So today, being able to do what I love, combining my creative passion with the need to discover the world beyond the horizon, I do my best to steal at least a particle of our planet’s beauty and give it – closed in the glass safe of a photographic frame –
to all people, so that they – like me – understand what a wonderful place we live in.

The motto of my company is contained in its very name, which I chose quite conceitedly, never supposing that
with time my work will be dominated by publishing – ARS IMAGO, which means “the Art of Image”.

The experience gathered while working on each of the albums I have published during the last several years is
a guarantee of the highest quality. Although I am primarily a photographer, each album signed with the ARS IMAGO logo
is largely my own work. The texts, layout, preparation of materials for the printing house, and personal supervision over the print – all this in the hands of one person ensures the success of the final result.

Of course, this website shows only a small part of my work. Once you inform me about the project for which
you need dedicated photographs, I will send you more pictures to choose from.

Reproductions

I also offer my photos as reproductions in the form of digital printing on fine pearl paper or prints on photosensitive paper. At the client’s request, I also offer professional framing. Please contact me if you have any questions regarding the format, type of print and paper, framing, and prices.

Publications

ARS IMAGO, as an experienced publisher, offers comprehensive services related to the publication
of photographic albums of all kinds.

The customer may place an order for creating an album “from scratch” by asking me to build a collection of original photographs for the project. They can also provide their own materials (photos, texts, etc.) that will make
the foundation for the album.

Depending on the subject matter, the offer may include the preparation of texts and their translations into Polish.
An example of such comprehensive cooperation is the album I have prepared for the Regional Directorate of State Forests in Krakow. The material provided in the form of photos taken by foresters, supplemented by my texts,
was graphically developed and then printed and delivered in line with the client’s requirements.
